What

Welcome to the School of Life.  Here we let life teach us – the easy way, the hard way, any way.  Sometimes we are submerged in chaos, other times we are uplifted in clarity, often it’s both.

This is a humble little place where we don’t feel pressured to change the world, but it probably will change without the trying.  That’s just the irony of life.

We acknowldege that in one single moment life can be both beautiful AND atrocious.  We do our best to honor whatever shows up.

We cry big, raw, ugly tears until we laugh in spite of ourselves.

We don’t hide our fear, we exploit is shamelessly until it runs from itself.

This is a place set apart from the costume party of life.  Here, you’ll find honesty and acceptance and forgiveness.  Because we embrace our shortcomings and challenges as the best teachers we’ve ever had.  (Except Mr. LeFave – he rocked!)

In this place we say the ‘God’ word without cringing or apologizing.  We follow with a hearty ‘Merry Christmas’ and the Pledge of Allegiance.

And we love.  Oh, do we love!  Because we aren’t afraid of passion.  We embrace the largeness of life and feel compelled to give back as much as we get – which is a whole heck of a lot when you really think about it.

If you’re a student of life, join us.  We’d love your wisdom and opinions and company.  Or you can just stalk us and not contribute – we won’t judge.  Welcome!
